This website features over 50 years of my artwork.
Knowing the simplicity and sweetness of being alive and appreciating and enjoying this existence is the impetus for my artwork.
Currently I am working with the pastel painting medium. I thrive on rich and vibrant color and texture. That artwork will be found on the Current Work, Human Figure, Nature Paintings, Floral Images and New Age Art pages. On the Current Work and Poetry Plus pages you will also find peace mandallas and works of various other mediums. Some originals may be available on request, and archival giclee prints of the majority of this artwork is available at prices to fit your budget.
The Poetry Plus page includes short stories I have written and other tidbits that touch my heart as well as the artwork with poetry. They can be easily purchased in e-book download form.
On this site is an array of artistic expression ranging from the 1960's to the present. This body of work includes drawings, paintings, large unstretched canvas pieces, three dimensional work as well as lithographs, woodcuts and a silk screen - abstract art and non-objective multimedia work to figurative and representational pieces. The sizes range from miniatures to larger than life. Some work is accompanied by my poetry. Many of these works are included on the Retrospectives60-1999 page. A few of the retrospective originals are still available as well as archival quality prints.
A percentage of all proceeds from the sale of art work will go to tprf.org. The Prem Rawat Foundation (tprf) is a humanitarian organization addressing fundamental human needs so that people everywhere can live their lives with dignity, peace and prosperity.
To me Life itself is the miracle - above all else. It brings with it the gifts of breath, sight, sound, feeling, tasting - and the human heart. All the ingredients for Celebration! We are all born with these extraordinary gifts of life as well as creative expressive qualities unique to each of us. It is my privilege to be able to share my personal expression of the beauty of life as I see it, with you.
